Intrade forecast of Timothy Geithner's chances of confirmation

Even if Mr. Geithner is eventually confirmed, his tax problems are already creating problems for the country.
The Senate Finance Committee has now postponed hearings on his confirmation until after the inauguration, because of concerns about his tax problems, according to the New York Times.
The Times also reports that there had originally been hopes that the Treasury Secretary appointment would be confirmed quickly, so that he would be able to act quickly on the economic crisis, but it now appears that we will not have a Treasury Secretary in place on Inauguration Day.
