The graph above shows the predicted effective tax rates for different income levels including all federal taxes (individual income tax, payroll tax, corporate income tax, and estate/gift taxes). The projections for future years are based on tax laws already on the books. It does not take into account any new legislation that may or may not be passed before 2010 or 2011.
